Operations, turnaround and transformation
Work depends on the owner to make every decision. Teams are busy, but the same problems keep coming back. Processes that worked at one size stop working at the next. We figure out what is breaking, assign ownership and change how the business actually runs.
What we do
Operating model redesign
How decisions get made, who owns what, and how the functions connect, rebuilt for the size and complexity the business has reached.
Turnaround and restructuring
Fast stabilization when performance slips: cash, cost, priorities and leadership, followed by a plan to return to growth.
Workflow and process redesign
The day-to-day work mapped, simplified and rebuilt, with the systems changes needed to support it.
Compliance-ready operations
Operations designed so that regulatory and contractual obligations are built into the work, not checked after it.
Management rhythm and metrics
The meetings, reports and measures that tell leadership what is happening and let them act on it.
Vendor and outsourcing strategy
What to keep in house, what to buy and what to outsource, and how to manage the partners you depend on.
When clients call us
- Growth has outpaced the processes and the people who built them.
- Margins are slipping and nobody can say exactly why.
- A compliance finding or customer audit exposed how the work really gets done.
- Leadership spends its time resolving the same cross-functional problems every week.
- A previous transformation produced a plan but no lasting change.
How the engagement runs
The same operating model applies to every practice, so you always know where the work stands and when it will be yours.
Learn the business from inside
A partner joins your leadership rhythm, reads the numbers, talks to the people doing the work, and agrees with you what success looks like in terms you can measure.
Run the plan
We carry the work ourselves. That can mean holding an executive seat, rebuilding a platform, closing a transaction, or all three, with the right partner on each.
Hand it to your team
We hire or develop the person who keeps the seat, document how the work runs, and step back. Many clients keep a partner on as an advisor afterward.
Questions clients ask
How is this different from a traditional consulting project?
We do not hand over a recommendation and leave. A partner owns the change, often from an operating seat, and stays until the new model is running under your leadership.
How long does a transformation take?
It depends on the scope. Stabilization work is often measured in weeks; an operating model redesign usually runs over several quarters. We agree milestones at the start and report against them.
Do you work in regulated environments?
Yes. Most of our operations work is in industries where workflows carry regulatory obligations, and we design with those obligations in mind from the start.
Will you change our systems as well as our processes?
When the process change requires it, yes. Our technology practice can build or replace the systems the new way of working depends on.
